Meetings for 2012

JANUARY

Monday, January 30, 11:30 am program meeting. Social & refreshments for first half hour. Meeting convenes at noon. Downtown Collins library program rooms confirmed.

Topic: "Pushing a Progressive Agenda in Florida" with Susannah and Scott Randolph. Scott is a veteran Florida legislator, a ranking member of the Florida House of Representatives Finance & Tax Committee, elected to the Legislature in 2006; Susannah is the Executive Director of Florida Watch Action who organized the Pink Slip Rick campaign and former campaign manager for Congressman Alan Grayson's re-election bid in 2010.

February

Amendment 5 (Leg takes power from Judiciary),

Amendment 6 (removes abortions from privacy clause)

Amendment 8, formerly 7 (allow public funding of religious schools).
