Annual Democratic Picnic

11th Annual Old-Fashioned Democratic Picnic

Saturday July 23 from 4-7 PM

Rod Smith, state chair of the Florida Democratic Party, and a representative for U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, Lynn Bannister, are featured speakers at the 11th annual Old-Fashioned Democratic Picnic sponsored by the Democratic Club of North Florida.

The picnic, Saturday, July 23, 4-7 pm, at Vause Park, 6024 Old Bainbridge Road, on the north bank of Lake Jackson, will mix politics and fun with political speakers starting at 5 pm, a speaker's corner, live music and lots of food. Other public officials are invited to speak briefly and to serve the public (supper).

An optional catered barbecue dinner with (three meats), dessert (three fruit cobblers), and iced tea will be offered for $10 ($5 children), or bring your own supper. The number of servings is limited. Reserve your plates and avoid the line and need for cash by sending in your check made out to DCNF to PO Box 362, Tallahassee, FL 32302.

We will again be collecting school supplies for the school district.
